The Simplicity and Power of the Cross
Steve’s sermon is in 1 Corinthians 1:18 talking about the preaching of the cross and how it is foolishness to people that are not saved but it is the power of God to us that are saved. Steve also is in 2 Corinthians 10:3 talking about the simplicity of the message of the cross.
Discernment
Steve’s sermon is in Matthew 16:1-4 and other parts of the Bible to talk about discernment. The discernment of the people and church back in Jesus’s day and the discernment of the people and church today.
Jeremiah
Steve’s sermon is in Jeremiah 1. Steve has a couple commentaries on the message in Jeremiah. Jeremiah had a message he didn’t want to give to a people he didn’t want to preach to.
